Our First Dream Home

The land for our first home consisted of 21 unimproved acres in the country.  We purchased a low end mobile home and placed it on the property next to ours.  The necessary utilities were already in place from a previous home. We, of course, started construction on our home during December (seems to be our favorite time of the year).  It was a big mess getting cement trucks in to pour our slab for the garage.  The weather cleared up a little for the cement trucks when our piers were ready to be poured but when the trucks arrived with our pre-fab panels, we were trying to remove sheets of ice from the subfloor which we had covered with heavy plastic.

The pictures below were taken after we moved into the home.  However, as you can tell from the pictures taken when we sold the house, we were still building our dream.
